Rajasthan Solar Association (RSA) a set up under Rajasthan Non-Trading Companies Act 1960 for the Promotion of solar power industry.
RSA members include top international & national companies comprising project developers, EPC companies, module manufacturers, equipment manufacturers, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSME) and its service providers. Since its inception, have played a key role in shaping encouraging solar policies, suitable regulatory framework, facilitating industry-academia interface, generating awareness on contemporary industry issues and promoting research. RSA works very closely with national solar federations, international solar associations, multilateral agencies and other industry organizations to contribute to Pan-India issues of solar sector. RSA is committed to promoting Solar Energy by advancing Solar Friendly Policy making and spreading awareness. One of the main near term goals of the association is to mobilize investors to meet the target of 30000 MW, set by the Government of Rajasthan as a part of the National Target of 100 GW by 2022.

The RSA is a non-profit, nonpartisan organization that helps members get involved in better policy decisions and influence national and state policy and regulation by voicing their concerns. RSA has signed an MoU with the Indo-German Vocational Education and Training Program (IGVET) under the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH. It is a joint initiative of the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) in India and the German Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). Implemented by GIZ, it aims at improving the skills of India’s labor force.
