The Key Hghlights of the Conference
1. Rajasthan Solar Policy and Rajasthan Investment Promotion scheme (RIPS)
SK BaswalDir-Tech RRECL have presented salient features of Rajasthan Solar Policy 2014 and investment friendly changes made in policy.
Tata Power told Rajasthan Solar Policy 2014 does not have any Investment attraction like other states.
Rajkumar Gupta Treasurer Rajasthan Solar Association told There should be Feed in Tarrif in Solar also like Wind.
Dr. SamitSharama (IAS) Commissioner ,Bureau of Investment Promotion GOR have briefed facilities and exemptions provided by Rajasthan Government for manufacturing facility.
Gk Sharama Secretary RERC have elaborated procedure of tariff determinations to solar freternity.
AK Jain MD REIL have pointed out that Rajasthan Government should bring more promising feature for manufacturing facilities for sola component and accessories.
2. Solar Pumping System
Mr.Ravi Karan Cheti MD Sun Edison – Sun Edition is going to launch grid interactive solar pump ; along with state provison of m=net metering this is going to be boon for farmers at Rajasthan.
Mr Dinesh K Goyal,Ex Additional Chief Secretary Horticultural :- Solar Pumping system should govern on subsidy method only; the bank loan arrangement arrangement may defeat the purpose in case of non-payment.
SPSingh Dy Director Horticulture (Solar Pump Div) :- He has given detailed presentation and told that till date almost 15000 Pump has been installed and next 5000 pump will be installed soon.The programme has attracted very good response and providing prosperty to farmers community.
SatyaKumar MD Shri Shakti Alternate Energy Hyderabad told :- Agriculture Solar Pump will strenghthen the grid system and sustainable growth would be
This is the upcoming area having Central Govt top priority and next 4-6 month MNRE targeting 1 lac solar pumps.
Sunil bansal Gen Secretary Rajasthan Solar Association :- Govt should allow subsidy on 10 HP Solar Pump also so that whole Rajasthan would be benefitted since till now only 3 and 5 HP is allowed for subsidy.
3. Solar Parks Development in Rajasthan
MM VijayvargiyaExDir Technical RRECL told.
Our Planning should be in decentralised so that transmission losses would be less.
4. Open Access Policy of theGovt& Green Corridors for Solar Power Evacuation.
L&T has raised the Issue that State Govt should make Transmission charges competitive to other states as Rajasthan charging Rs.1.60 per unit in comparison to other states only Rs..25 to .50 paisa per unit.
RVPNL should transfer the benefit of Aid received from KFW/ADB/National Clean Energy Fund under various scheme to reduce the transmission charges.
RVPNL officers revealed that Centre Govt will make a Green Corridor in Rajasthan which evacuate the Renewable power without any charges.
